Twenty years have passed since the Great Crystal War, when
the forces of darkness gathered and evil threatened the peaceful
kingdoms of Vana'diel. An alliance was formed to rid Vana'diel of
the evil but after a narrow victory, the threat has returned. As the
beastmen organize their forces and make their advance towards the
nations of San d'Oria, Windurst, and Bastok, a desperate call goes
out to adventurers around the globe for help.

• This expansion pack requires the full version of Final Fantasy XI

• More than 10 exclusive areas: Explore new places such as Mamook,
Arrapago Reef, Al Zahbi, Aydeewa Subterrane, Nashmau, Wajaom
Woodlands and others
• 3 brand new jobs: Become a Blue Mage, wield elegantly curved
blades for close combat while decimating enemies from afar with fell
magic mastered from your opponents. Experience the power of being a
Corsair and rely on the Hexagun, a multi-barrelled revolver, and
elaborate luck-based abilities to alter the stakes of battles.
Control enemies' minds when becoming a Puppetmaster
• A horde of adversaries: Treasures of Aht Urhgan will unleash
numerous monsters on Vana'diel such as the artificially created
Lamia beastmen, amphibious Merrow chimeras or the Mamool Ja, a
powerful tribe that holds dominion over the new Mamook Ja
Savagelands
• Two fresh game modes: Besieged game mode will allow players to
defend their towns from monster-invasion while Assault mode will let
players over level 50 jump in and play straight away without having
to assemble a giant party and undertake a huge quest
• Chocobo breeding: Raise and care for your very own Chocobo, a
feature for which fans have been asking for the past years. Mate
your Chocobo and some little baby Chocobos might be running around
the fields of Vana'diel soon
• System enhancements: Keeping with the FF XI principles, system
