Take to the stage! Paper Mario: The
Thousand-Year Door builds on the action-packed battle system of the
original RPG with the addition of audience participation. Not only
will timing Action Commands help you dodge or inflict damage, but
impressing the crowd will help you build power for super attacks!

Time passes, the pages turn ... and a new chapter unfolds in an
unfamiliar land! Get ready for a two-dimensional role-playing
adventure for the ages as Mario returns to paper form in pursuit of
a threat unlike any he's ever faced. This time around, more emphasis
is placed on the paper abilities of Mario and his friends. He can
turn sideways to slip through cracks, fold into a paper airplane to
fly, roll into a tube and much more. He can also use tons of items
like hammers and thunderbolts.
Origami antics aplenty with Mario as the indefatigable plumber
returns for another bite of the RPG cherry on GameCube! Fold Mario's
uniquely flexible features into the shape of a plane to take to the
skies, or turn him sideways to slip through slender gaps as you
strive to rescue the kidnapped Princess Peach. Search for Star
Crystals by exploring a vast world, hooking up with old chums and
older enemies - and make sure to impress the watching audience when
battling the bad guys, or they'll start getting antsy!
