Mortal Kombat Deception Shocking and
evil, Mortal Kombat: Deception pushes martial arts-style fighting
and the Mortal Kombat franchise to new heights with an innovative
fighting system, unparalleled depth and brutally intense action that
will appeal to long-time Mortal Kombat fans as well as
next-generation gamers. The game features lightning-fast
hand-to-hand and special weapons combat, secret and returning
characters, moves and combinations with new death-dealing battles
and fatalities. Also new to the franchise are Multiple Fatalities
per Character, Death Traps, Interactive Backgrounds and Breakable
Objects in the environment. With online capabilities and new game
modes, like the massive free-roaming Konquest Mode, the
Action/Strategy Board Game and a Unique Puzzle Game, Mortal Kombat
Deception is a MUST HAVE for fans of this hugely successful
franchise.
Story: Earthrealms best heroes were defeated by the deadly alliance
leaving only Raiden to defend Earthrealm, but was defeated, and the
DA had won. But they soon turned on each other, leaving Quan Chi the
winner. But the Dragon King, Onaga, returned from death to reclaim
Outworld and a new alliance was formed in desperation of Quan Chi,
Shang Tsung, and Raiden. Seeing that They would lose Raiden released
a large amount of power to defeat Onaga, Killing the three. Onaga
didn't even get a scratch from it. Now you must defeat Onaga, to
save the world.
Game Features:
• New, multiple fatalities and interactive backgrounds. With two
fatalities per character, newly instituted death traps, stage
fatalities and numerous interactive Kombat backgrounds, this game is
looking to take the Mortal Kombat series to an all-new level of
pain.
• New Konquest mode. A completely redesigned single player Konquest
mission will provide an entirely fresh and exciting gameplay
experience by adding the likes of Direct Player Control, worlds
populated by NPC (Non-Player-Controlled) characters, unique hidden
features, a "real time" clock that represents the equivalent of a
24-hour day and a strong RPG gameplay element.
• New board game mode. In this all-new feature, players will be able
to partake in a game of chess-like strategy, but with a fun (and, of
course, bloody) Mortal Kombat twist.
• New puzzle game mode. With ties to the likes of your favorite
puzzle video games of past, each character in the Mortal Kombat:
Deception puzzle mode will have a super-move they can trigger
against their opponent. Over 10 MK characters will be represented
and there is plenty to both challenge and laugh at in this mode.
