Career mode development:
Max out your speed first, then your strength. This helps in the matches
because all you have to do is keep throwing hooks, then when your
opponent is dazed, use your Super Punch to knock him down. After you
have maxed out speed and strength, you should be able to defeat all of
your opponents with ease using hooks.
Get your strength to maximum, then work on your speed. Use the A + Down
and B + Down combo for someone like Bob Cray. If you are fighting a
normal opponent, then use the X + Down and Y + Down combos. For the best
results, use both combos.
Easy knockdown:
At the beginning of the initial fight when your opponent is approaching
you, use your special power punch. This will stagger him. When he
approaches you again, hit him with another special power punch, then
attack him with an array of body punches. His strength will drop. Keep
attacking him to knock him down and thus win the fight.
No more Game Over -
In Rocky-Legends you only get 3 continues and if you have none left it
will be GAME OVER but if you save your game after every win you will
continue from your last fight so it will really help you get through
career mode.
Easy wins on any knockout tournament -
Carry on beating bronze tournament, but make sure you put all of the
computer people as Buddy Shaw (he only has to go down twice before he's
knocked out). When you save up $125000 buy Tommy Gunn(Boxer not weapon).
Now go on any knockout tournament pick Tommy Gunn as your player and
stand in any corner of the ring and when the computer comes near press
R1 then triangle to Headbutt them (this has to be timed correctly or
they will punch You so practice) and remember to fight Buddy Shaw.
Big $$$ -
Once you get to the end of the career mode, (before you fight Rocky)
save your game in a free space. After you beat Rocky you will receive
BIG $$$. Then save your game again in a different free space and fight
Rocky over and over for more Big $$$. |
