Faster Ship - To speed-up your ship, pause the game then hold L2 and
press Right, Up, Right, Up, Down, Left, Down, Left, Circle.
Level Select - Highlight either the "R-Type" or "R-Type II" options at
the title screen. Quickly press L2(10), R2(10). Begin game play and press
Start to access any level or view the FMV sequences.
Maximize your weapon - While playing, pause, hold L2 and hit Right, Up,
Left, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right and hit either Triangle, Square,
Circle, X or R1 for a laser bomb. You should be able to hear a sound to
confirm if you did it correct.
Slower Flight - To slow your ship movement, pause the game then hold L2
and press Right, Up, Right, Up, Down, Left, Down, Left, X.
