Kombat Codes are a way of altering the
way that MK3 runs. Simple as that. This change can be either to make the
game easier or harder, or even just more fun. The Codes are entered in
two ways. Either when you initially execute the game thus:
C:\MK3\MK3 xxxx
where xxxx is replaced with the number of the Kode you wish to enter.
Alternatively, in a 2 player game, a Kode may be entered when the 'Vs'
screen comes up. There is a bar of 6 figures at the bottom of the
screen. Pressing LP, BL and LK on each player's controls will cycle the
figures through 10 symbols. The numbers used in the Kodes below indicate
the number of times each button must be pressed. So, to disable throws,
player 1 must hit LP once, and player 2 must hit LP once too.

688-422 : Dark fighting; Screen visible only when hits scored
460-460 : Random person; Random Morphing
642-468 : Galaga; Game over for both players after match
101-000 : Player 1 Healing Enable
000-101 : Player 2 Healing Enable
303-303 : Both Players Healing Enable
202-000 : Player 1 Weakening Enable
000-202 : Player 2 Weakening Enable
404-404 : Both Players Weakening Enable
552-000 : Player 1 Takes Double Damage
000-552 : Player 2 Takes Double Damage
552-255 : Both Players Take Double Damage
239-494 : Sweeping Disabled
972-279 : Timer Disabled
348-279 : Timer Slow
978-243 : Both Players Weak, Double damage, slow timer
969-141 : Winner fights Motaro

831 : Noob Sabiot mode. Shadow players
9966 : Players face wrong way
8000 : Game is speedy

8888 : Players are wider

54321 : Players are shorter
4862222 : Block is bad. If you block, you lose most of your energy
100000 : Boss Code, allows Shao Kahn and Motaro to be used, in 2 player
mode
Wanna play with Motaro ?
Go to Windown Explorer or winfile. Copy the motaro file over the jax
file. Now start the game and choosing Jax lets you play Motaro. Note :
