Last Levels of I of the Dragon 10-12:
Note: this only covers the last levels, 10-12, and may not cover all
missions, It does cover the main missions, which are not covered in the
only other walkthrough I have seen.
Area 10: Crimea Remove all Lairs and monsters from Terra. Go to Crimea
and destroy the Lairs and monsters near the town becon. Middle right of
map. Do not bother to create a town until you clear this area out a bit.
When you get hungry, go back to Terra or one of the other lands for a
meal. Re-enter Crimea and continue erradicationg monsters and lairs. You
can set up a town after you second run back to eat, but the chance is
high you will loose it several times. Periodically you can go to the
wizards tower to destry it, but it is not known so far if it makes an
impact on the gameplay. You should at least destroy the tower once
during the clean up. Keep at destroying
Lairs and monsters:
From the town outward, with lunch breaks till all are gone. Defending
the town while within or near its walls to take advantage of it and its
residents so that you don't have to face so many monsters at once is a
good strategy. Upgrade and fix the town every chance you get. Once the
town is strong enough to take car of itself, continue cleaning out the
rest of Crimea and amke sure the town doeas not get overwhelmed with
beasts whose lairs you have destroyed, since that is where they go to
when they have none, stray to far from theirs, or come within a cetain
distance of the town. After all Lairs and monsters are gone, go to Terra
to pic up a Zeolot, take him to Crimea and the tower. Drop him off,
right click on ground where you want to set him. You now play as the
Zeolot, attack the the tower. The wizard will come out on fire and die,
the soul is automatically collected. Pick up the Zeolot with the dragon
and take him back to terra and the drop him off on the town tower (right
click on tower). The next mission is the Archer, his mission is to get
the eye. even if you don't survive this, since you are surounded by
monsters, it then switches to the dragon. Get the eye and get back to
town. The rest is pretty much straight forward, clean up any remaining
monsters.
Area 11: Turf:
This level is not as hard, though kill every Creeper on the way (big
purple glowing mothlike things), but don't get too sidetracked. The town
becon will be located of course in the middle of Monster Lairs in a
valley on the middle left. Those creepers are slow and tend to turn awy
when confronted head on, especially when you fire at them, but they pack
a punch when they do fire, 42. Also watch out for Twoheader Big (red),
since they can hit you hard, 75/20*2. Those Guarno are no picnic either,
their fire power is 75/25, though they tend to run around a lot
and wont usually fire unless you stay in one spot, they are hard to hit,
so once you hit the, power up a bit and
keep hitting while thwey are stunned. So... you destroy all Lairs and
Monsters, and so Finally you get to battle Scharborr, and after he's
injured and on the run through a portal you follow him....
Area 12: Gerra (The Final Battle):
Umm... well after a scene where I'm not even sure you are controling any
of the action but seem to for a short bit.... Both armies fall and you
the dragon battle Scharborr. Its not too hard atually, just throw a few
powerful spells at him and he's a goner!
