Get first place in Score Attack mode to unlock Kumite mode.
Survival mode -
Get first place in Time Attack mode to unlock Survival mode.
Two Player Time Attack mode -
Get a "Jonin" rank or higher in Two Player Score Attack mode to unlock Two Player Time Attack mode.
Two Player Survival mode -
Get a "Jonin" rank or higher in Two Player Time Attack mode to unlock Two Player Survival mode.
BGM Music -
Successfully complete Story mode on all four difficulties to unlock the "BGM Music" option.
Story Mode Viewer -
Successfully complete Story mode on all four difficulties to unlock the "Story Mode Viewer" option.
Voices -
Reach 30% mission completion for a character to unlock his or her voice.
Final Valley stage -
Successfully complete Ultimate Nine Tailed Naruto and Sasuke Second State's final mission on the CPU difficulty Level 2 or higher to unlock the Final Valley stage.
Bonus characters -
Successfully complete one of the following tasks to unlock the corresponding character. There are multiple ways to unlock each character. Note: To determine your mission completion percentage, select "Extra" at the main menu, choose "Rankings", then select "Mission Completion".
Awakened Hinata
1. Unlock all characters except for Ultimate Nine Tailed Naruto, Sasuke Second State, Bando, and Kagura.
2. Reach 100% combined mission completion for Hinata and Neji.
3. Reach 300% combined mission completion for all characters.
4. Fight in 700 battles.
Anko
1. Reach 15% mission completion for Orochimaru.
2. Fight in 350 battles.
Asuma
1. Successfully complete Story modes on CPU difficulty Level 2 or higher.
2. Reach 30% combined mission completion for Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji.
3. Fight in 160 battles.
Baki
1. Successfully complete Story modes on CPU difficulty Level 2 or higher.
2. Reach 30% combined mission completion for Gara, Temari, and Kankuro.

1. Reach 30% combined mission completion for Kakashi, Asuma, and Kurenai.
2. Fight in 400 battles.
Kabuto
1. Successfully complete Story modes on CPU difficulty Level 2 or higher.
