Hercules: Legendary Journeys
Beginner's Walkthrough

This mini-walkthrough is designed to help you get through the first town
and Lolaus's mini-exploration area, which will finally bring you back to
the first town again.
Traycus - After your training is done, you'll need to head towards
Traycus. Along the way, you'll be able to enter a small cave and talk to
Lolaus. After talking to him, head back to your original travel path and
get to town. In town, you'll need to do the following:
1) Talk to everyone first.
This will help avoid having to backtrack. Talk to everyone, outside and
inside buildings. You'll discover that a Cyclops has bridged off the
water supply, and you need to have him move the rock. After talking to
everyone, here's the proper sequence for the Puzzle
String.
Cookbook Girl - Head down the brown ramp in front of her and enter the
small L Shaped house that's below her. The book is in the back
bookshelf. Once returned, she'll find a Key and give it to you.
Teddy Bear Guard - With the key, jump into the water filled side of the
river, and swim to the far side. You'll see a treasure chest that you
can access with the Key. Inside is the Teddy Bear. Take this back to the
guard in the watchtower. He'll give you the Key to Cyclops' Fort.
Cyclops' Fort - When you begin the fight, keep circling around him and
getting in a punch or two as often as you can, just don't stand still
and never be in front of him. Once victorious, he'll remove the boulder.
After the fight, head to the Farmer, and he'll give you grain. Take the
Grain to the Mill Guy.
Mill Guy - Give him the grain, and he'll make flour for you. Now with
the flower and the scroll (which you should have gotten from a green
cloaked man if you did talk to everybody), head back to Lolaus who's in
the cave area.
2) Lolaus' Trip
Now in control of Lolaus, climb up the vines and head into the white
town area. You can't access any doors, but there are food barrels if you
need them. Work your way to the other side, and head into the blue-ish
town. You'll discover that the Mayor has been imprisoned in his own
home. Once again, talk to everybody first. After doing so, the first
major step in this Puzzle String is finding the lost cat.
Lost Cat - You'll be able to climb the vines on the side of the house
near the left side center of town. Once up top, head left to find the
kitty. Take this back to the girl, and she'll ask for some flour to make
you a pie. Once you give her the flour, she'll give you the
pie.
Pie Girl - Head to the far back house, where you see more vines and
fencing. Inside, the girl will gladly take the pie from you, and then
show you the secret entrance behind the fireplace. Once up top, run
around the corner to the Treasure chest. Jump of the roof and head for
the water pool near the center of town. Walk into its center and take
the key. Head back up through the fireplace and unlock the chest to get
the Gem. This will undo the Mayor's prison term. He'll give you the Key
to Thrace.
Hercules - Now finished, head back to good old' Herc and switch to him.
Go back to Traycus, and head towards the Scribe's house. Save your game,
and then head into the door behind his house. This is where your real
journey begins.
