Increase starting customization points for Evon race (only) in Master of
Orion 3 (OS X).
Make a backup of the Spreadsheets.mob file found in the MoO3 directory,
(in
/GameDataSets/Classic_01/GameData/Common/).
Easiest way? Option-drag the file to your desktop.
Drag the duplicated Spreadsheets.mob onto Stuffit Expander (7.0.3), the
resulting uncompressed folder will be called Spreadsheets.
Enter the directory and edit the racemodifiers.txt file with
TextEdit.app.
Under the section "RacePickPoints", there are 3'columns' of numbers next
to the EVON entry, change the third number (default is 0) to 500 (or
1000, but 500 should be sufficient).
Save and quit TextEdit.app.
Move the Spreadsheets folder into the directory with the original
Spreadsheets.mob file.
Run Master of Orion 3 as normal, select New Game,select the Evon race,
select Customize, you should see your cheat points there.
